 I compiled this step sheet for a shim sham class we taught. Being an ex- linedancer , I have used the step sheet format used in linedancing.This is therefore different to jazz step sheets I have read. The numbers at the side refer to the counts.  Hoping it can all be all understood :-)

SECTION 1 STOMP OFF ( SHIM SHAM STEP)
8 1 Keeping L foot in place, Stomp R foot forward;slide R foot back in place
2 3 Keeping R foot in place, Stomp L foot forward, slide L foot back in place
4 5, 6 7 Repeat steps 8 1 twice (R,R)
8 1-7 Repeat 1st 8 counts, starting on L foot forward ( LRLL)
8 1-7 Repeat 1st 8 counts, starting on R foot forward ( RLRR)
  FULL BREAK ( easy version)
8 1 2 3 Step R,Touch L behind R; Step L, touch R behind L
4 5 6 7 Step back R L R L ( with applejack styling if you like)
