The Lindy Hop is a fusion of many dances that preceded it or were popular during its development but is mainly based on jazz, tap, breakaway and Charleston. It is frequently described as a jazz dance and is a member of the swing dance family.

We cover East Devon and West Dorset. We meet every Monday at 8pm ( 7.30pm complete beginners) in Axminster East Devon, upstairs at the Conservative Club. Ex13 5AH. Wooden sprung dance floor. Bar downstairs.
